ASP.NET apps, built to last.

We build business applications and APIs on ASP.NET Core, move older .NET applications onto supported versions, and maintain the systems your teams rely on every day.

  • Custom web applications
  • APIs and integration
  • .NET Framework modernisation
  • Upgrades to .NET 10
  • Sign-in and security
  • and 6 more services below

This is for you if

  • Your system runs on ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC or WCF on .NET Framework, and it is getting hard to change, host or hire for.
  • Your applications run on .NET 8 or .NET 9, which stop getting security updates from Microsoft on 10 November 2026.
  • You need a business application, portal or API that off-the-shelf software does not cover.
  • Your in-house team needs more .NET developers, or a second opinion on code, security and performance.
  • The developer who built your system has left, and nobody else knows how it works.

What we can do for you

Custom web applications

Business applications built around how your organisation works.

  • Internal systems for operations, approvals, case handling, scheduling and reporting.
  • Customer, partner and supplier portals with their own sign-in.
  • ASP.NET Core with Razor Pages, MVC or Blazor, chosen by how interactive the screens need to be.
  • Role-based access, audit trails and data exports that compliance teams ask for.
  • Multi-language and multi-company support for organisations in several countries.

APIs and integration

Connect your systems, apps and partners through APIs that are documented and secure.

  • REST APIs and minimal APIs for mobile apps, websites and partners, with OpenAPI documentation.
  • gRPC services for fast communication between internal systems.
  • Integrations with ERP, CRM, HR, accounting and payment systems, including Dynamics 365 and SAP.
  • Background jobs, message queues and scheduled imports with Azure Service Bus or your own queue.
  • API gateways, rate limits and versioning, so changes do not break the apps that depend on you.

.NET Framework modernisation

Move old applications onto current .NET without stopping the business.

  • ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC applications moved to ASP.NET Core, in stages.
  • WCF services replaced with REST APIs, gRPC or CoreWCF.
  • Incremental migration, so old and new parts run side by side until the switch is complete.
  • Dependencies, third-party libraries and Windows-only code found and replaced.
  • An assessment that tells you whether to upgrade, rewrite or leave each part, with costs.

Upgrades to .NET 10

Keep receiving security updates after .NET 8 and .NET 9 reach end of support.

  • Upgrades from .NET Core 3.1, .NET 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 to .NET 10, the current long-term support release.
  • NuGet packages, Entity Framework Core and build pipelines updated with the framework.
  • Breaking changes found and fixed, with tests run before release.
  • A plan to keep each application on a supported version from now on.

Sign-in and security

Secure access for staff, customers and partners.

  • Single sign-on for staff with Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Customer and partner accounts with Entra External ID or ASP.NET Core Identity.
  • Security reviews against the OWASP Top 10, with fixes for what we find.
  • Secrets moved out of code and config files into Azure Key Vault.
  • Dependency scanning and patching for known vulnerabilities.

Databases and data

Data models that stay fast and correct as the business grows.

  • Database design with Entity Framework Core on SQL Server, Azure SQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Slow queries, stored procedures and reports found and made faster.
  • Data migrations from old databases, spreadsheets and legacy systems.
  • Reporting with Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services.

Cloud hosting and deployment

Applications hosted where they run reliably and at a sensible cost.

  • Hosting on Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps or Kubernetes.
  • Moves from on-premises IIS servers to Azure, AWS or Linux servers.
  • Containers with Docker for consistent builds and deployments.
  • Monitoring and alerts with Application Insights or OpenTelemetry.

DevOps and testing

Releases that are routine, not risky.

  • Automated builds, tests and deployments with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Unit, integration and end-to-end tests for the parts of the system that matter most.
  • Separate test, staging and production environments, with approvals before release.
  • Infrastructure as code, so environments can be rebuilt the same way.

Performance and code review

Find out what is slowing the system down, and what is risky in the code.

  • Code and architecture reviews with a written report and priorities.
  • Performance profiling for slow pages, timeouts and high hosting bills.
  • Caching, background processing and query fixes to cut response times.
  • Load testing before busy periods or a large rollout.

AI features in .NET applications

Add AI to the applications you already have.

  • Document reading, summaries and search with Azure OpenAI.
  • Chat assistants that answer from your own data, with access rules respected.
  • Built with Microsoft.Extensions.AI or Semantic Kernel, so you can change models later.

Maintenance and team extension

Keep the system running, or add .NET developers to your team.

  • Take over applications whose original developers have left, starting with documentation and a code review.
  • Bug fixes, small features and security patches under a monthly plan.
  • Dedicated .NET developers who work in your team, tools and sprint process.
  • Handover to your in-house team, with documentation and pairing sessions.

How it works

  1. Requirements or assessment

For new work we write down what the application must do and which systems it connects to. For existing systems we read the code first.

  2. Architecture

We choose the structure, hosting, data model and upgrade path, and agree them with you.

  3. Build in sprints

We deliver working features every two weeks, so you can test and change direction early.

  4. Test and launch

We test with real data, release through the pipeline, and monitor errors and performance.

  5. Support

We fix issues and add features under a monthly plan, or hand over to your team.

Scope and pricing

Projects are fixed price after a requirements workshop or code assessment. Small applications and APIs usually take six to twelve weeks; upgrades depend on the size and state of the existing code. Maintenance and dedicated developers are a monthly fee. Hosting and licences are billed by Microsoft or your provider to your own account; we do not mark them up.

Questions

Not covered here? Ask us and we will answer before you commit to anything.

Ask a question
What happens when .NET 8 and .NET 9 reach end of support?

Both stop receiving security updates from Microsoft on 10 November 2026. Applications keep running, but new vulnerabilities will not be fixed. The supported path is .NET 10, the current long-term support release, which Microsoft supports until November 2028. Most applications can move straight from .NET 8 or 9 to .NET 10.

Should we upgrade our old .NET Framework app or rebuild it?

Upgrade when the business logic is sound and the code is reasonably organised. Rebuild the parts where the old code is the problem. We read the code and give you a recommendation, with costs for each option.

Is .NET Framework 4.8 still supported?

Yes, .NET Framework 4.8 and 4.8.1 are supported as part of Windows. But they get no new features, run only on Windows, and fewer developers and libraries support them each year, so most companies plan a move to current .NET.

Can you take over an application someone else built?

Yes. We start with a code review and documentation of how the system works, fix the most urgent risks, and then maintain it under a monthly plan.

Where will the application be hosted?

Usually on Microsoft Azure, but ASP.NET Core also runs on AWS, Google Cloud and Linux servers, or on your own IIS servers. The hosting account is yours, and we choose with you based on cost, data location and your team.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code lives in your repository and you get full access from the first day.
